Coaching
We see coaching as a way to continue the conversation about race and equity beyond our workshops and trainings. Our work guides people through a process to deepen their learning and figure out next steps for reaching their equity goals. We help keep you accountable, think through different approaches to advancing equity, and commit to action.
Like all of our work, antiracism coaching is not about “ticking the box” for us. We don’t just focus on what to do, but help people with the how and the why. That’s why you won’t find too many assessments, reports, or dashboards in our coaching services. We think these can be useful tools sometimes, but they don’t always tell the full story and often can keep us from getting to the hard work of antiracism. Our coaching supports people, organizations, and workplaces to do that hard work in a number of different ways.
How We Can Help:
Reference Desk. Not sure where to start? Let us point you in the right direction. We’ll answer your questions, share research and resources, and provide expert advice about equity issues.
Action Planning. We work together with individuals and groups to map out concrete steps to operationalize equity. We help clarify your goals, identify root causes, and figure out what supports you need to make real progress.
Skills-Building. Learning about equity is an ongoing process. We design training modules and skills-building plans to ensure education continues beyond an initial workshop or presentation.
Convening. We help keep the conversation going by bringing together and facilitating equity committees, retreats, discussion groups, and study circles.
