Building a Better White Ally: Cultivating Relationships and Racial Solidarity

Our work has shown us that equity takes more than DEI buzzwords or quick fixes. It requires connection, coalition, and community. That starts with building meaningful relationships that allow us to work together toward a shared vision of racial justice.

But how do we cultivate relationships rooted in trust, care, and mutuality? What does it take to build solidarity that leads to collective action? And how do we do any of this in the face of ongoing backlash and attacks on all things equity?

Join this online workshop series to explore how to deepen antiracism by deepening relationships. Picking up where our recent Building Relationships for Racial Solidarity Workbook left off, we’ll discuss how to go beyond allyship and foster authentic multiracial partnerships.

Learn how to collaborate across racial lines to shift power and spark change. Find out what we can learn from allies past and present and hear insights from our experience working together as black and white women. We’ll also look at how white people can support racial justice—without causing harm, making a mess, or making it all about you.
